Netflix is giving us a miniseries on the life of the Queen of Tejano music Selena Quintanilla! Just last night, we are treated to a first look video on Selena: The Series, featuring Christian Serratos who'll be playing the iconic character.

The minute-long video shows Christian Serratos preparing for her role – reading her script, putting on Selena's iconic red lipstick, and practicing her signature move while donning her legendary jumpsuit!
Selena: The Series is a coming-of-age story on Selena Quintanilla and her life-changing choices as she tries to fulfill her dreams and navigate through success, family, and music.
Christian Serratos appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including The Twilight Saga, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and The Wallking Dead.
The show is executive produced by Jaime Dávila, Rico Martinez, Suzette Quintanilla, Simran A. Singh, and Moisés Zamora, and will be starring Christian Serratos, Gabriel Chavarria, Ricardo Chavira, Noemi Gonzalez, Seidy Lopez, and Madison Taylor Baez.
Selena: The Series launches on Netflix in 2020.
